Set When the Alarm Turns On
You need two people.
Person 1 uses the monitor.
Person 2 stands in front of the camera.
Set Up Camera 1
Start calibration
- Person 1: Park the truck.
- Person 1: Press and hold CALIBRATE CAM 1 until the button fills (about 1 second).
- A quick tap will not start calibration.
- MOVING is selected automatically.
Note: MOVING controls the alerts used while the truck is in motion. Keep the truck parked during calibration. You do not need to move the truck to set up MOVING.
Set the red locations
- Person 2: Stand where you want the high-severity alert to begin.
- Person 1: Make sure Person 2 is visible on the monitor.
- Person 2: Stop moving.
- Person 1: Tap
RED — ALARM HERE.
- Person 2: Move to another red location.
- Repeat these steps until you have saved 3 red locations.
Optional: After you save the required 3 locations, you can save more locations for that color.
Made a mistake? Tap UNDO to remove the last location.
Set the yellow locations
- Repeat the same steps at 3 locations where you want a medium-severity alert.
- Tap YELLOW — WARN HERE each time.
- Include the farthest place you want a warning. Beyond your farthest yellow location, the truck stays quiet.
Note: There is no green button. Everywhere beyond your farthest yellow location is the quiet area automatically.
Finish and save
- Person 1: Tap FINISH.
- Person 1: Tap SAVE.
The new settings start working right away.
Walk through the same areas to test the alerts. The yellow light waits for a few readings before turning on — about half a second.
Optional: Set Up STATIONARY
Want different alerts when the truck is stopped?
- Person 1: Press and hold CALIBRATE CAM 1 again.
- Person 1: Tap STATIONARY.
- Repeat the same red and yellow steps.
- Tap FINISH, then SAVE.
Note: If you do not set up STATIONARY, the MOVING settings are used when the truck is stopped.
Set Up Camera 2
- Person 1: Press and hold CALIBRATE CAM 2.
- Repeat the same steps for Camera 2.
Try a Practice Calibration
You are Person 1.
Tap START THE DEMO WALK to begin.
On the real truck that's it — no restart. Walk through the same areas to test the alerts.
Remember
Do not save a location while Person 2 is moving.
Keep other people from walking through the camera's view during calibration.
What to Do if You Get an Error Message
Follow the message on the monitor.
For example, if your locations are too close together, you may be asked to redo the calibration. When you try again, leave more distance between your locations before tapping FINISH.
